Dr. Dana Gordon
Dana Gordon, Pharm. D. is a longtime resident of the Monterey Peninsula of California where he has owned and operated Central Avenue Pharmacy (CAPRx, Inc) since 1991 as President and CEO. As an independent provider of both prescription and compounded medications, he is in the unique position of providing highly personalized customer care to his clients. Additionally, Dana has forged long term relationships with local doctors and providers who rely on his expertise and knowledge of compounding. Dana is a graduate of University of the Pacific in Stockton, CA where he received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree, and pre-pharmacy chemistry at California State University, Long Beach. In addition, Dana has been the President and CEO of Lipothene, Inc., specializing in topical drug delivery vehicles, since 1995.
Dana holds memberships and leadership positions in many professional organizations such as the California Pharmacist Association (CPhA), Professional Compounding Centers of American (PCCA), Alliance for Pharmacy Compounding (APC), Central Coast Alliance of Pharmacies (Past President), and Tri-County Pharmacists (Past President) to name a few. Dana has been recognized and honored by both local and governmental organizations. In 2005 and 2022, he was named Best Medical Service Provider, and received Recognition of Excellence in his community of Pacific Grove by the California State Senate, California State Assembly, and the U.S. Congress.
